Magazine Cover Moodboard

This is a collage of the various music magazines out there. In these magazine covers, they tend to use a lot of bright colours like blue, red yellow and pink as they attract more attention to the audience. These would appeal to more younger audiences whereas the covers that use more monotone colours like black, white and other neutral colours would be targeted at older audiences.

Statement of Intent

For my GCSE Media NEA,  we have been given the task to create a magazine front cover and double page spread for the target audience of 14-18 year olds on the topic of music. After a lengthy time of pondering, I have decided to create a Hip Hop/Rnb based magazine and chosen to name my magazine Stargaze . I have gone with this genre of music because when collecting the results of my survey, I found out that majority of the participants were of the age range and picked the category of Hip Hop/Rnb hence making the decision of basing it around the genre.
